ABOUT ANACARA COMPANY

The formation of any company for the creation of products for the home is purely an extension of one's philosophy of the quality of life.

The Anacara Company was formed in 1989 to design and produce fine furnishings, for today's indoor and outdoor casual lifestyles, in keeping with our philosophy of the quality of life. The original purpose was to establish a company that would manufacture the very best quality wicker and rattan products on the market. We feel we have done just that.

THE ERA OF RATTAN AND TEAKWOOD

At that time the company's main focus was OEM production in the rattan industry for gallery furniture manufacturers. We opened a distribution warehouse in High Point N.C. in 1993 and still ship all warehoused products from this location. From 1993 to 2003 our product base of rattan and teakwood garden furniture was all manufactured in Indonesia to the Anacara Company's exclusive design specifications.

THE BEGINNING OF OUTDOOR WICKER

July of 2003 launched the companies new beginnings into China with extruded and cast aluminum collections as well as aluminum framed woven resin products.

The July 2004 pre-market was the culmination of two years of design directed products focused exclusively to your specialty retail market and your discerning consumer. Over the past six years the resin wicker introductions have ranged from the most traditional Saratoga collection to the transitional design of Infinity. The introduction in 2008 of the Flair Collections featured our best selling weaves on a fresh new approach to contemporary design. Our strength in the resin category offering a transitional design with unsurpassed comfort has lead to the steady growth of our collections. Continuing to design with todays outdoor lifestyle larger dining tables and swivel gliding lounge chairs has been added to all collections.

The introduction of Mariner in 2010 brings our innovation to the next level combining familiar styling with innovative resin materials in a wide range of items.
